Letters from the atelier and your complimentary handbook

If you subscribe to Atelier & Boutiques EMIL HRISTOV emails, we use your email address and selected language to confirm the subscription, provide the handbook and send letters about menswear, craftsmanship, news and offers from the atelier.

Subscribing is voluntary and based on your consent. You must actively select the consent box and confirm your address using the link in the confirmation email. Sending an enquiry or an order does not automatically subscribe you.

We use Brevo for confirmation, list management and email delivery. See Brevo's privacy policy for information about the provider's processing.

You can withdraw consent at any time through the unsubscribe link in marketing emails or by contacting contact@atelieremilhristov.com. Marketing emails stop after unsubscribing. Limited records of consent and unsubscribing may be retained to demonstrate and respect your choice.

Enquiries and orders

For enquiries through the contact form, we use your name, email and message. Providing a phone number in this form is optional.

For shirt requests, we use your name, email, phone, stated city, chosen cloths and details, measurements, measuring method and any notes you choose to add. Required fields are marked in the form. Contact information and the necessary measurements allow us to clarify the particular commission.

The details are sent to the atelier's business email. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter. Include only information relevant to the request, and avoid medical details or unnecessary information about other people.

How we use information

  • Consultation and tailoring. To reply, clarify the design and measurements, arrange a visit and fulfil a confirmed order. The basis is taking steps at your request before a contract and performing a contract, under GDPR Article 6(1)(b).
  • Legal obligations. Where accounting documents or other required records are necessary, the basis is GDPR Article 6(1)(c).
  • Security and handling disputes. To limit misuse and duplicate submissions, and to establish or defend claims where necessary. The basis is legitimate interests under GDPR Article 6(1)(f), with respect for your rights.
  • Optional analytics. Where Google Analytics is configured, analytics tools are used only after your consent, under GDPR Article 6(1)(a).

Analytics consent is separate from submitting an enquiry. Declining does not prevent browsing or using forms. The site does not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Receipt and retention

Enquiries are accessible to the people responsible for consultation and tailoring. The forms do not create publicly accessible files containing your contacts or measurements.

Correspondence is retained according to whether an enquiry, confirmed order, forthcoming fitting, alteration or unresolved dispute remains active. Information no longer needed for these purposes is subject to deletion unless a legal obligation or a specific claim requires retention. Accounting documents are kept for the applicable statutory period.

Form protection uses separate technical records: a submission identifier, its status, and protective values derived from the IP address and request details. They do not contain readable message text or measurements. The code provides for records older than seven days to be cleared during subsequent requests. Provider server logs and backups are separate from these records.

Providers and external links

Hosting and email services support the site and message delivery. The hosting provider is Hostinger. These services process technical information and the content needed to provide them. Information from Hostinger.

Fonts. The site loads fonts through Adobe Fonts and Google Fonts. Your browser connects to the provider's servers, which receive an IP address and technical request information. This loading is separate from Google Analytics and is not controlled by analytics-cookie preferences. Adobe Fonts and Google publish their own processing information.

External sites. Instagram and Google Maps links lead to services with their own privacy policies. The map in the contact section is an external link, while Instagram photographs are hosted as files on our site.

Some providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Their policies explain processing locations and international-transfer mechanisms. Contact us for further information about the providers used for your request.

Cookies and analytics

Alongside cookies, the site may use browser storage to remember a preference or a design you ask to save. Saving a design is separate from submitting an order.

Analytics preferences

The local record eh-consent-v2 stores acceptance or refusal, the date and the service identifier. The choice is valid for up to 180 days, after which it is requested again.

Saved shirt design

When you use Save your selection, the local record eh-shirt-design-v1 stores design options on this device. It excludes names, contact details, entered initials and measurements. It remains until the site's browser data is cleared.

Google Analytics 4

Analytics code loads only when the service is configured and you have accepted analytics.

When activated, cookies may be used _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visits and sessions. The code sets retention up to 180 days from creation or renewal; the browser may shorten it.

Measurement covers page views, product interactions, use of the shirt builder, contact clicks and enquiries successfully accepted by the site. The latter does not confirm that an email has been read or a transaction completed.

Analytics code does not send entered names, emails, phone numbers, measurements, initials or messages. Page addresses exclude query parameters and fragments. Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled in the code. Session recording is not used.

You can decline or change your choice through Cookies in the footer. Withdrawal stops future measurement; it does not reverse earlier processing or delete enquiries or information already received by the analytics service.

Information from Google: data from sites using Google services.

Language preference

eh-language-v1 remembers the chosen language on this device until site data is cleared. eh-language-seen in session storage remembers dismissal of the language window for the current session. The language suggestion uses the browser preference. It does not send an IP address to a country-location service.

Your rights

Under the conditions set out in the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent you have given.

Send your request to contact@atelieremilhristov.com . Provide enough information for us to locate your correspondence. We may ask for further identity confirmation where necessary. The usual response period is one month; we will inform you of any permitted extension.

You may complain to Bulgaria's Commission for Personal Data Protection: cpdp.bg.
